Default Oil/Coolant/Underhood temps

Please excuse if this is a stupid question, but would lowering one significantly lower the others? I'm not even sure if any of them are too high, but I live in Texas and I'm sure the turbo and intercooler don't help any either. I've been considering upping the boost lately, and I'd just rather be safe than sorry.

I guess I could not be lazy and just check the temps with guages. But buying a bigger radiator can't hurt, so why not? Which leads me to my question that if I just buy a bigger radiator would it lower the other temps also?

edit - Almost forgot, are vented hoods functional at all? Would they significantly lower any temps, or are they just for show?

being turbo your gonna need all the help you can get. under hood temps on a turbo car are considerably higher than N/A. getting a bigger radiator may help to cool more efficiently but the thermostat will still regulate the engine to operate at the same temps. i recommend going to a lower rated thermostat, different radiator cap, and fan switch to modify this.. water wetter also helps a little.. also get an oil cooler and run a little bit thicker oil-it wont thin out as fast. i use 10w-40. i'm not sure about the hoods. it seems like they would help but i have yet to see proof by a controlled test..
