I have a Vortech sc and I noticed while my car was on the Dyno, it was giving out blue smoke under wot but not throughout the rpm band. My guess is that I am not running a catch can and the residue oil is being burnt. I plan adding a catch can setup this weekend. I was wondering what else I should be looking for. The car only has 25k miles and I haven't noticed any blue smoke under idle, moderate throttle input or any other time. Hoping the catch can will solve it. Any other suggestions would be helpful.

Go by Autozone/Walmart and make a cheap DIY catch can in the next few days and see if that helps at all.

Edit: I'd highly recommend modifying that can that's pictured though. Put a filter to breathe to atmosphere where the cap normally goes and run the actual can lines close to the top but not the tip-top of the bottle.

Seems like a lot of blue smoke. Are you burning a lot of oil and how do your spark plugs look? Maybe test your PCV and perform compression and leak down tests.
