Since my last post I haven't done too much because my turbo kit still isn't finished but this is what I have done. I installed my rebuilt head with the IP 3mm HG and ARP head studs, the install went very smooth. I was debating powder coating my intake manifold black so I didn't reattach it when I dropped the head on. Now I cant get to the very back bolt on the bottom side of the intake manifold I called Inline Pro and they said that they could probably get to it with the car on the lift so when I take my car to get it tuned hopefully they can install that bolt for me. I also ordered and installed one of the donation Inline Pro fuel rails and installed that with some ID 1000cc injectors. I also removed the air pump. I am going to mount the stock battery tray on the front cross bar that the old intake box used to sit on but I dont want to do that until I know exactly where my intercooler pipe is going to be run. I really have nothing else to do to my car until the rest of the turbo kit gets here or my updated banjo bolts get here from hardtopguy.

sounds like a good build...I am not trying to hijack the tread but I got a question for the boosted ones that live in hot places...does anybody have any problem with these kits over heating in hot places?? I live out in the desert at 29 Palms, Ca for the marines and with my hatch and my buddies ek we both had problems with it running to hot with a turbo. Thanks
I am subscribing I want to see numbers hurry up haha

It has been awhile since my last post because of the whole peakboost issue but i ended up getting my money back (thanks to Bank of America) and I continued my build. I had most of the peakboost kit already so I bought a brand new peakboost downpipe from a member on here so my setup consist of peakboost manifold, downpipe, dumptube, and intercooler piping, garratt gt35r with a .82 exhaust side, tial q bov, precision 46mm wastegate, precision 600hp intercooler, ghettocrxsi ac relocation lines, asura exhaust, 3 inch test pipe, boost control solenoid, and 2 aem serial gauges, walbro 255, id 1000's, richmond 4.56 gears. I'm mounting my battery on the front cross member. This was my most expensive and involved build that I have ever done and the install went fairly smoothly for everything. The hardest part was installing the upgraded oil bolt in cylinder 1 and that really wasnt that bad. I used a long extension with a universal joint on the end and a wire hanger wrapped around the universal joint to control it and it took me about 2 mins to get it done once I did it that way. I'm actually cutting the stock heat shield to use to protect the fuse box. Im using reflective tubeing to put on the heater lines behind the downpipe and I am also making a heat shield for it.

here are some build pics that I took with my cell phone. The ones I took with my real camera I havent downloaded yet:

My car is at a local shop getting a few small things that I couldnt do then its getting tuned on friday or saturday. I already know my setup is good for over 500whp so I am just keeping my fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong on the dyno. I'll be adding a dyno video and some more pics of the car this weekend hopefully.

I don't think you're going to like that gearing with a good amount of power. Not at all.

I can agree with that. 500 rwhp and 4.56s will be close to silly.
