Wink BOV on CTSC W/O AFTER COOLER?

Did some reading and found that one with the CTSC aftercooler kit can utilize the bypass line to tap in a godzilla BOV, but I was wondering if the after cooler kit is needed to tap in a BOV.

Has anyone done this before for the CTSC kit w/o after cooler?

If so, where and how did u rig it, and what type of connectors and BOV was used?

thanks in advance.

You can run a BOV without the AC.

Just remove the bypass and hose, plug the port on the intake and use a short length of hose to attach a TurboSmart Kompact.

IN other words, I dont necessarily have to go w/ this brand "turbosmart kompact", I can rig basically any BOV on the intake port that sends the air back.

Sounds interesting....I will do a little bit more research and then attempt to find a nice sounding BOV.

thanks guys

Yep, any BOV that has a fitting for 1" hose. Just so happens the TurboSmart Kompact has one.

If I plug this up, then where do the other hoses go?

The BOV needs to be hooked up to a vacum line, on my turbo application i use the line between the Intake manifold and the oem FPR

Your Comptech/Bosch bypass has three connections. A vacuum line, an input line from the charge pipe, and an output to the inlet pipe.

When you replace it you connect the BOV to the vacuum line, the charge pipe and it's vents to air. So you have to plug the port on the inlet pipe.

gofastbits stealthfx, this is before the 1" adapter was attached and the hose setup shortened. frozenboost.com sells miscellaneous super cheap bov copy ones with 1" hose ends ($35-$40)...
