Remind me again why you need a BOV on with a supercharger...you've already got the cool whining noise of the supercharger you gotta leave us turbo guys SOMETHING! Lol

And for the critics i know a BOV isn't there just to sound "cool" ha ha! It serves a purpose. But superchargers don't have compressor surge so...is the BOV just for sound effects?

And here's the TurboSmart:

It's connected to the AC here but connection to a non-AC Comptech is the same.

attempt to find a nice sounding BOV.
Be aware that you should really only compare sound of BOVs installed on Comptech SCs as those installed on turbos will sound different.

Thank you AUS, you are by far the most help I have had on this forum. More people like you in this world would make this place a much happier place!!!

I will get a picture of all my tubing tomorrow, and hopefully you can redirect me in attempting to install the BOV and I can post some cool vids up on here!

So far I have narrowed my choice to the Synapse BOV, but will it sound exactly the same as the one on the video?

I know they are using an AC in their vid, not sure if that will make any difference....

If I'm not mistaken, will this be all that I will need, or will I need something to go with it also?

LUCKILY, for me they are a San Diego based company right by where I live, so this will be an interesting project.

Thanks again/!!!

LOL, some people might not agree but you'll get no argument from me.

My guess is the AC will make no difference to the sound.

But it is using a custom welded flange screwed onto the AC so fitment will be different.

Call them and ask for a BOV with a fitting for a 1" hose (and a separate cap for the intake hose). They will say yay or nay.
