Default BOV question

Well I will try to be detailed as possible. I have a greddy type RS BOV. I had got the intercoolor piping and some other things dipped after the kit was installed. Everything ran perfect on the car. Since reinstallation I am having some of the same issues other greedy users are having. Bad idle but that seems to work itself out. Question is when I come out of boost the BOV releases air as it should but then makes a slight whistle when it closes. Could that be from the BOV being to tight?

Have ou had it apart? hecked for burrs and whatnot. I take mine apart every few months and oil it up just to make sure its moving smoothly.

its not the diaphram you need to lube, its the valve and the walls of the bore. You can try using air tool oil or 0 weight oil (something light).

The bore, the area where the valve travels. if you want you can put anti seize on the top and bottom of the spring to keep its movments fluid.
