Default BOV wont go off now!

CTSC AP1...

all vacuum lines have been unmolested and are in there original location. i ran intercooler piping for a FMIC and had to remove the air pump located on the driver side of the bumper.

i noticed today that my blow off valve is no longer opening at throttle release. my boost gauge is report normal vacuum but the BOV is simply not opening.

i traced the stock vacuum lines to the rear end of the motor and noticed that one end connects to a piece that looks similar to a FPR. that piece connects to a large hose that ultimately ends up by where the air pump was. this is leading me to believe that the air pump removal is somehow the culprit to my issue.

anybody got any ideas, or advice?

Thats the EGR valve. You shouldn't have any vacuum lines going off that anyway. Try changing the bov line to one of the other "non-hampered" vacuum lines (ones coming directly off the intake manifold).

i was teeing off the IM for my boost gauge. is it ok to add one more tee for the BOV off the same spot?

yes. you can add several. I T mostly everything off the line going to the fuel pressure regulator. See if there is an adjustment on the BOV that could be your problem. It could be too tight.
