Anyone make a nice aluminum sealed battery box for a Braille 11.5 lb battery? All the battery boxes i can find are rather large, they will work but kinda pointless.

I need the car to be able to pass tech inspection at the drag strip, i assume that even a braille battery which is "sealed" still has to be in a sealed box. Or am I incorrect?

 

as far as i know, if the battery is not under the hood, it needs to be in an approved battery box that is vented to outside the car.

that being said, the track down here is under new ownership and can give a f@#k less now about it. my battery is in the trunk with no box.


just go on summitracing.com and look at there boxes. plenty to choose from.
