Default breakin in a new bottom end with a supercharger

First I would like to say thank you for your impute and your time. My s2k 02 has been down for a few months it will be running again by saturday. I would just like some impute I have read so many forums on this subject but I have not read anything about anybody breaking in a engine with a supercharger. I will use either halvoline 10w30 or castrol gtx 10w30 and valvoline synpower oil treatment.

I read some interesting info while breaking in the engine it would be good to get a little pressure in there and was recommended full throttle hits at 3rd or 4th from 2000-4000 rpms and around 500-1000 miles full throttle at 3rd or 4th from 2000-5000.

I am thinking of changing the oil around 1000 miles and slowly introduce vtec sorry this is so long but if you could kindly give me some impute if have the supercharger at first would hurt this car in the long run or what i have planed will be good thank you for you time.

Since you never indicated why your car was "down", it's hard to give you advice. When all else fails, break the car in just like you would do if the car was new. Having a S/C should not affect how you break it in. A few S2000s have been delivered brand new with a supercharger installed. Break in is no different. However, the oil type and change interval needs to address the specifics of having a blower on.

You should change the oil the first 50 miles and the first oil in your car should have no additives. They're basically the cheapest oil. Mobile makes them too - the way to tell is by looking in the back. There is a star and it WONT say energy conserving.

The first 10 minutes is really when most of the wear and filing happens on a new engine. It's best to get that oil & filter out of there as soon as possible.

The bottom end in this car before was damaged i bought the car used and piston 2 had a hole in it but the car itself has 32000 miles on it i bought it and it worked for a bit but whoever had it before me didnt take car of her. I dont have the regular air box but i dont think as long as i take it easy it should be fine and i will do the 50 mile change better safe than sorry.
