Default Broken tensioner pulley bracket on Comptech SC

My tensioner pulley bracket broke off on my Comptech SC. I'm wondering what is the best way to installing this? From the look of the Manual, it looks like I can take off the "standoff block"(see Step #8 in the PDF), insert the tensioner braket in, then backtrack the uninstall. I really hate to take off the blower in order to do this. I went underneath the car and tried to just take the lower bolt off(see Step #8, the bolt goes in the hole being circled), I can get it unscrewed all the way, but as its almost out, the bolt is so long it runs into the housing of the blower(see Step #8, the arrow is pointing to the bolt), so that is out of the question. I'm gonna head out there and try to take the "standoff block" off and see what other obsticles will come up. In the meantime, if anyone of you have any sugguestions, please feel free to throw up your imputs, as I'm tired of driving "stock".

How old is your SC? Is this a common problem with the bracket breaking?

From what I hear from ONE guy, yes. But I dont see why the new unit is any different, seeing it's still using the same tensioner bracket.

My unit is 4yrs old. 20k on it.

Ok, got her fixed up. Incase someone ever run into this problem again. You have to take the whole blower out along with the main bracket(3 big bolts). That is the easiest way. Not as bad as I thought, only took 2hrs with another guy helping out. SHE'S ALIVE.......!
