Primary delay was financial - ??? thru Aug
Merger with Barker - Aug thru Mid-Sep
Clearance Issues with TB and Mounting Brackets - New brackets arrived at BRP today (Oct 5, 2006) They are planning to grind the initial group of new design TB's in house until they get everything sorted out with the bids they requested for the new design.

James is hoping to get their BETA car in for install next week and hopefully running.

As far as I know they are still having issues with ELF on Miatas and would assume the same will ring true for the S2000 kits. This will be the next evolution of delays, etc... I am sure.

Well fortunately there are other options. As far as I know - all of the ELF units that were shipped early on worked well and continue to work well. It is essentially the same thing as a powercard pro (which JR uses).

It seems they should release a "tuner" kit with all of the hard parts and no engine management. An EMS and larger injectors would take care the tuning.

I guess this is no longer a BRP product anymore - everything has formally transitioned over to StageOneTuning.com including the link to the new forums:

http://stageonetuning-forum.infopop.cc/eve

There is a post from Jeff Barker (one of the Barker Products owners) about the transition:
