Will it work with MY06s? I believe there are some significant technical differences in them that prevent the current Comptech kit from running in it.

Loud enough to let the other driver know that he just picked the wrong car to run.

I read in the BRP thread that they are not sure if it will work or not. But they plan to make it work later on if it won't. I would think that due to the fly by wire throttle on the 06 that some adjustments will have to be made.

I had the smaller M45 blower on my '99 Miata about 4 years ago and the noise level was fairly significant. It's not like a turbocharger's high pitch hissing. It's more of a linear whine that increases in pitch as the RPM's build. It's actually pretty intimidating. I'm trying to imagine what the S is going to sound like wailing at 8-9k RPM with this thing on it.

What is the operating speed range of the MP62? Should we be worried about parts flying apart after a year or two of 9,000 RPM abuse? Trust me...this kit will see plenty of abuse by plenty of users...

The maximum safe operating speed of the MP62 is something like 18k RPM. Trust me, the MP62 (and Eaton/Magnusson superchargers in general) have seen plenty of abuse over the years; they're fairly bullet-proof. They've come in everything from Pontiac Grand Prix to Buick Park Avenues to the Chevy Cobalt/Saturn Ion to the Lotus Sport Exige GT3.

I think I mentioned earlier in the thread, but this guy: http://www.biggulp.net/ was running his MP62 up to 21-22k RPM I believe. Made upwards of 340rwhp on the Miata, with the stock exhaust manifold.

Here is a drive by video from one of our customers who participated in One Lap of America in 2004.

I think this project is great but what I don't like is that BRP is getting all sorts of free advertising here without being a sponsor of the forum.

Many have come before you with the same type of threads and a lot of them have become sponsors.

If you are developing this kit for the S2000, there is no better forum to sponsor out there that will bring you the knowledgable customer base you're probably looking for.
