I believe that as long as the product is in not on the market that they are free to talk it up all they want. When the product is ready to sell then they will have to become a sponsor. At least that is how I have seen it work recently. I believe Cody at lovefab was a guest on the board until his turbo kit was ready to sell and then he became a sponsor. The only problem is that they do manufacture products for other vehicles. They are far from a start-up company just chatting up a concept.
Maybe lovefab was the same way, I don't know. Just making a point, it doesn't cost much to be a sponsor and the rewards, in the end, are worth so much more.
It's up to the mods though, I'm not one of those anymore.
