Any news/updates?
Got the car back from the body shop and have been doing some testing/playing with fuel adjustments. I am currently topped out on injector capacity (stock injectors + 480cc sub-injector) at my current boost level. Looking at upgrading the OEM injectors - but not sure which way I want to go.

Also had a discussion with SOT and it looks like they have found their distributor and are working to get kits in stock. I am thinking they may do a pre-release offering through December (not sure what the details are yet) with kits shipping in January. I am "guessing" that the kit will be offered in a couple of different flavors to give folks some different pricing options.

If I hear anything else I will post it here.

Did you ever try out different pulley's like you talked about ? What about some dyno's with each boost level ?

That was why I was testing/Playing with the fuel levels under boost. Wanted to see how much headroom I had before trying to up the boost. Now I have to wait until I sort out the injector situation.

I am currently running about 8-8.5 psi (70 degrees @ 1800 ft ASL). In the summer when it was much hotter out I was only getting 7 with the same pulley. Air temps at the inlet of the SC seem to effect boost level. At sea level with 50-60 degree days I was hitting around 10 psi.

Makes sense... same volume of less dense air = less pressure. Keep us updated... any approximate ETA on release of a production version?

I'm serious i really do.

any updates at all?! I'd be interested in purchasing and beinbg another test subject if the company has interest. However I'd like to incorporate a fmic, and a custom cold air intake for this also.

I believe you. I wanted it back in January 2006 when BRP started working on it, too.

Things are still progressing with the kit
William has proven that the ULT works well with this system with a supplemental injector and based on some conversations with him he will be converting over to larger injectors and getting rid of the supplemental injector.

I will be installing mine with a FMU, timing box and upgraded fuel pump just to see what can be gained with a simplistic fuel system.

All though I am not a CARB expert I think it will be easer to get the kit CARBed (requires a lot of money to do this) when using a FMU and timing box.

The FMU/timing box style setup has a precedence already set with Vortech and Comptech style systems.

The box I am going to use already has a CARB cert # and had a track record of about 10years with very good success in fact the Corvette LeMans cars use this type of timing box.

A FMIC could introduce some problems with throttle volume and idle droop.
However it may work perfectly our ECUs are really good at compensating for different conditions as long as it does not throw a CEL of some sort.

But its worth it to try it sine the system would be passive and it would bring the cost of the kit down a bit.

I will be looking into couple if ideas on how to get the filter into a better location so stand by.
