Default bw s300gx, holset hx35 ?

There is a chance i ll give up on external wg. Rerouting dumps into dp and foreseable leaking issues is a bummer. So i will need t3 iwg
efr7670 price tag bites.
Anyone knows bw s300gx or holset hx35? Specs pretty close to s256
Apparent drawbacks?
They allegedly good for 550-600 whp, but that is only by map, what happens on the turbo side is a mystery. They are ment for 5.9 L engine but then again, specs are slose to s256

I have a hx35 7 blade t3 12cm. I didnt get the car dyno tune but this turbo is a spooling monster. It was on a pfab log manifold. It seem like this turbo was choking up top when street tuning. I ended up switching to a pfab eltm and the turbo didn't fit anymore with the way that manifold angle. I ended up selling it. I never been in a turbo car with a s256 but they seem very similar in power rating but my set up was open dump tube so I can't common on a hx35 with a internal wastegate.

Was it twin scroll? Did you have issues controlling boost (only one channel is dumped?)?
What was wastegate setting, and how did you adjust it? Aftermarket or managed to adjust stock?

Twin scroll housing but my manifold is a t3 open. No issue controlling boost but it seems to choke up top around 7k up. I came to conclude that the twin scroll and the log just don't work together good in a t3. Wastegatr had a 10lbs spring in there and it was control threw aem series 2.

I ran an hx35 with a plm sidewinder and loved the spool time and power output of that charger. Bone stock long block at 6000 feet corrected elevation the car went 12.0@115 on just 9lbs. I would see full boost around 3800-4000 rpms on my f20. Personally I think it's a great turbo and the price is unbeatable for the quality. I also had the small exhaust housing on mine but it still performed great.

Is this the one you had ? https://www.privatelabelmfg.com/prod...f-manifold.htm
Or was it a single scroll ... (may twin scroll setup with only one side somewhat dumped act up?)
What whp would you have? ~350-380? Think it can support more? (I was hoping to get 400 and step to 500 eventually).
