Default Calling the Full Blown Dual Pump Hanger owners

Hello,

I really need your help guys. I manage to install this dual hanger last week but I am facing a really big problem. Petrol from inside the tank is traveling through the black and red wire cables which are the pumps power and earth cables and is coming out at the end of those wires outside the tank on the connector plug. This is happening independently if the pumps are powered up. Below is the photo of the pumps plug

If I keep this plug even above the fuel tank level then petrol spills out of the plug. If I keep this plug at a certain level a lot higher above the fuel petrol level then petrol stops coming out of the plug. However this is not the case when the pumps are powered up even at this height. It is not happening though in the fuel level power and earth cables because those 2 are different design cables than the pump cables. Have you experienced something like that? It looks to be the design of those black and red wire cables which are not insulated so petrol find it's way through. Please help

Seems like fuel is wicking thru the wires. Is the pass thru from the full blown carrier a hermetically sealed connection? If not that is your problem

The FullBlown hanger replaces all wiring; unusual that fuel is traveling up some wires, but not others. Are the outside of the wires wet at all? Are there any leaks at the top of the hanger where the epoxy is covering the wiring? Can you post a pic of the wiring (or a diagram of how you have it wired currently)?

If you can't get in touch with Full Blown, try selling it and getting the SOS pump kit when it releases. I haven't seen Full Blown post up for a long time now that I think about it.

I think that rather than the wires just been a bit wet the fuel is pissing out of the part where the wires go through the hanger.

As I have the same setup as Chris but my car is not on the road yet I need to address this problem soonest.

To properly deal with this the best solution is to use fuel resistant bulkhead connectors, which in addition to having my pump hanger modified to suit my fuel tank is making this piece of junk a very expensive addition to my car.

My advise to anybody thinking of buying this setup is to avoid it like the plague.

So is the fuel wicking (ie traveling up the twisted copper wire internally) or is the top of the hanger leaking? Hard to tell from the OPs pics, but it appears that he's holding the factory connector (which is not typically used with FBM kit).

Its the top af the fuel hanger thats leaking, itsn not wicking up the copper wire.

The seal where the wire goes through the top of the hanger isnt sealing at all.
