This fuel wicking really has me worried. I'm about to instal a Walbro 400 pump in the stock fuel pump housing which requires me to drill a hole on the top of the housing to fun the power wires to the pump. Sealing the hole is easy but what can be done if the fuel is traveling ip the internals of the power wires? Is there a specific type of wire that can be used so this won't happen?

Yes they are specific wires made by Teflon usually used on boats. Ask in a shop which sells wires and they will tell you.

Where can I go order this type of wire?

Any kind of Teflon wire and I'll be fine?

To be honest I didn't look on-line to buy this type of wire. Since I live close to a big port there are many shops here which sells equipment for boats. If you google marine wire you probably can find online shops. I also believe that automotive companies who deals with fuel pumps and electrics must have this type of wire. If you call them up and explain what you want they will be able to tell you which power wire they recommend
