As far as the fuse box melting, we haven't seen that problem on our street car. This is the first incident, maybe we can try to create something similar to the ARC box.

As far as the mounts concerned, If you had a stock s2k on the lift, you can literally rock the motor with your hands. The engine mounts on the s2k are really soft and liquid filled. I'm sure heat has a lot to do with the mounts being ruined, but also when you add that much torque and shift hard, i'm sure that hurts the s2k mounts a lot.

We are in the middle of designing motor mounts for the s2k, hopefully later this year?
Thats why IMHO InlinePro is the only way to go....

Nice idea you have with the heatshield by the battery. I also need to build one as my buddyclub battery has bubbled out to the point that it looks like its about to explode! Good thing I saw it the other day and replaced it with a different battery, but I still need to build a box for it.

No worries bro! And your def doing the right thing by reading up before you take the next steps...

Id also recommend using headstuds in place of the bolts that come with the wastegate. There's an issue with them vibrating loose. Happned to mine 6 or 7 times before we went with arp headstuds. Also, go with all the cooling mods...Good luck!!

I had the same issues and John sent me the cam bolts. Have not had a single problem since these were installed.

Mist, no they didnt. I know Inlinepro was aware of the problem. The "locking bolts w/clips" might be their solution to the proplem. My kits over a year old....

Are the ruined motor mounts more from the bottom mount Inline manifold? I'm running a topmount Lovefab V1/mini-me manifold. Is this something I'm going to have to worry about or should I look into some sort of heat shielding down there? I wish I would have thought about this earlier - my motor JUST went back into my car last night and I could have put a new mount in.
