Cams
Hey Guys,
I am taking my car in to be tuned within the next 2 months and am looking to switch up my setup a little. I have read that people have said the AP1 intake cam has more duration, and should in theory yield some power on an AP2. I am just about to pick up a set up ap1 cams, and was wondering if anyone had actually gotten some results. Specifically on a turbo setup, as i have one currently.
I was originally going to do just the AP1 intake cam, but was wondering if maybe i should do both? It would be interesting to see if my dyno, and compare it to how it was when it was originally tuned... Maybe reving it to 9k?
Anyone with any experience or Info would appreciated!

exhaust cams are the same from what I've read on s2ki.
AP1 intake cam in theory is better for NA but noone has proven this yet. Ive seen information on s2ki indicating that the AP2 cam profiles are more suited to FI, but I'm no cam guru unforunately.

i have just had an ap2 head which i aquired and had it port flowed etc by laskey racing and using my cams from my ap1, so i will wait for the results when mase tunes it
EDIT:
Confirmed. Just called my Honda Parts guy, he said that the cylinder heads have the same part #'s; but the cams (both exhaust and intake) have different numbers for the F20C vs F22C's.
So essentially, you have a complete AP1 (F20) head according to your post.
hmm, so im wondering if its even worth me getting ap1 cams... I guess if anything just the intake one... i can change the cams myself, but dont think ill be able to do back to back dyno runs
