Because there is less overlap, AP2 cams retain more boost across the whole powerband.

so your saying the ap2 cams are better? for making more torque for longer?

Have you done any testing> Switched them around? Any more explanation!

This isn't being critical, i just would love to hear some hands on info!

I sent Jeff Evans the cam profiles etc. and his response was...

"If you have an equal length manifold you will see gains from the longer duration cam. If you have a log manifold it will either make no difference or create a power loss."

Considering i have a log manifold I am wondering if i should just put back my ap2 cam... I'm getting good at this cam exchange and subsequent valve adjustment...

Anyone else have any input>?

So far I think OGPackin has the closest to a comparison. He has the AP2 (F22) cams on his (log) inline pro and has seen a significant increase in HP/TQ over his friends exact same setup with AP1 (F20) cams.

Judging by the experience my friends have had with skunk 2 cams for the k series, I wouldn't even consider putting them into an f series.
