Can the stock fuel pressure be achieved when using an AEM fuel pressure regulator with dual FB340 pumps?
I recently installed a FB hanger with dual FB340 pumps (I am upgrading and going E85). For quick tests, on the stock FPR, my fuel pressure got up to ~80psi (with vacuum line still connected) when running 2 pumps and ~58psi when running 1 pump. As the title says, can the stock fuel pressure be achieved when using an AEM fuel pressure regulator with dual FB340 pumps? Supposedly, the AEM FPR goes down to 20psi, but I assume that is based on using the stock pump.

The AEM regulator comes with 3 different sized orifices. If your fuel pressure is too high you can switch to a larger one to allow more fuel to bypass.

To the OP, I would recommend getting a nice FPR like the Weldon or Aeromotive that can adjust to a full range of pressure.

Thanks for the input guys. I would prefer a FPR that mounts in the stock location since I am using mostly stock lines. I ordered an AEM FPR earlier today. So I'll give that a shot (using the large orifice) and see how it goes. If stock fuel pressure cannot be achieved, then I guess I go Aeromotive.

^^^I'll let FullBlown know that the stock line kit option for their FB hanger does not allow for proper setups...
I am using the stock hard lines and not necessarily the stock rubber hoses. For example, I have Aeroquip AN hose and fittings on the feed line (along with a Fuel Lab inline filter). I can go into more details later.
