car not idleing right with etune!
so i just recently installed id1000cc injectors sos 3bar map sensor and the stock fuel pressure regulator and uploaded one of jeff evans etune basemaps on my aem emsv2. but the car is dumping too much fuel and doesnt idle right. i emailed evans and is awaiting his reply. anyone have an ideas? would it be the map or any of my parts malfunctioning? injectors and map sensor was bought used.

I'm in the process of etuning my car. My first tune was really lean, af's around 16-17 at idle. Datalog it if you can and send it to Jeff. Did you do the throttle position sensor calibration like Jeff states in his initial email?

You probably know this, but don't run it that rich too long...you could damage stuff. You will probably want to change the oil soon as well...I had a bad tune once and you could smell gas in the oil.

Buying used injectors is shady. Granted they are IDs.... but still. Did the person you bought the injectors from send lag times, flow rates, and static and dynamic information about the injectors? If not, I would suggest sending them out for testing, just to make sure the injectors are flowing properly and to have the most accurate data for the tune.
Have you messed around with the fuel cells? Can you see the injectors responding? In other words, do you see a change in AFR when you increase or decrease fuel in the cells?
If your fuel cell numbers are way off the chart, there could be a few issues. Could be wideband sensor, air leak passed MAP sensor, the lag times are not adjusted properly, or the one of the fuel injectors is stuck in the open position.
Data log is going to be the best way to see what is happening to the engine when you make an adjustment. If you make adjustments, make sure to keep it on the RICH side....leaning it out too much would be the worst case scenario; so just stay away from that.
If you ran the car for 10 seconds, that doesn't really give it time to warm up to normal operating temperature. This is when you want to make changes in the cells. Also, There could be an over adjustment on the coolant or air temp fuel cells at certain temperatures. So it could be just the tune. Granted it is the basetune.
