When talking about tubulars... Anyone that have input on the importance of the manifolds pipe lengths? How important is the equal length compared to a good collector and a general freeflowing design?

The more difference the worse? or does it actually come back to specific lengths that suits each other theoretically? Playing with the thought.

What about pipe size? Most manifolds seem to use the same dimension of piping regardless of if they are intended for 300whp or 700whp. What you see is usually dual WGs for the badass applications, and maybe a beefier DP.

yah, def. that is a nice looking manifold, you will def. have alot of heat so heatcoat, heatwrap, heatshield whatever you have to do!

^ Sounds like a myth to me. You get more power if you can cool the intake air yes, but you won't cool the intake air by heatshielding the turbo, thats just beyond me.

You heatshield the manifold and possibly the turbo exhaust side to prevent unnecessary under hood heat aswell as protecting nearby components.

The turbo itself is not producing any horsepower, this is just basic physics no magic involved.

Question: Does that ramhorn manifold fit? to me it looks like the wastegate will have a hard time.

You wont make that much power power with heat wrap. Other components will have reduced temps and you might make a little more power due to less heat loss through the manifold, but it wont be that much. It also looks to me like the manifold you posted might not fit that great, the WG might be touching the frame.
