I see no mention about different manifolds in that thread, you sure its the right one?
Only thing i found to explain the appearance:
"the 30r is spooling slower because he had a gt35 turbine on the gt30r. no wonder it spools the same....cmon now. if it was a standard gt30 turbine it would be hitting at 4k not 5k."
