Default is it cause i need a test pipe?

i recently upped the boost on my CTSC to an ASP 3.25" pulley (most people would say it would put me at 10psi but the dyno actually read 10.5-11psi)
i had it tuned by Shawn at Church Automotive. dynoed at 350hp 218tq. Shawn also requested a test pipe which he said would bump me up another 30hp. VTEC was also lowered to around 4200rpm.

i can actually feel the added power but the car feels a bit sluggish at first especially toward around 42-4500rpm after that shes a BEAST!

(current mods are on my sig)

going to a test pipe will help a little, maybe not 30 but it will help with a retune obvously.

You can get a test pipe for around 100 dollars. (Berk in the group buy forum)
It's possilbe that maybe your cat got hurt but it sounds more logical that it might be running too rich in that RPM range.

Have you cheked your plugs lately? I would start there and if need be go back to church to check it out since he "guarantees" his tunes and will fix things if you have problems.

I am just taking a guess here. When vtec hits in our cars @ 6,500 rpm along with boost it packs a pretty big punch, now that your vtec is engaging a lot earlier it will not kick like you are used to. So maybe your expectations were that vtec at 4,200 was going to hit just as hard as @ 6,500 rpms, which is just not the case it is not even that noticable.

Side note: Get a test pipe shawn can get mad power with a TP and its only $100.00 bucks. That will be your cheapest power on your car, also how he tunes it it won't smell or smoke as bad as others.
