If ypou want to be able to get similar power as the Novi 1500 without the issue of always being close to the surge line you could always look towards getting the 928 Motorsports impeller upgrade. With the improved seals nd bearings you shouldn't have any issues with it. I would just worry bout the surge on the bigger SC. Also something I have thought about but don't know if it would work is going to a K-Pro duel ECU setup and running Design Crafts iVETC to get better mid to top end response.

I believe the impeller upgrade is only good for the N1220, I think some users with the N1200 sent it in, but it was not compatible, because I think the N1200 has the same impeller.

I haven't really had the chance to look at the Design Craft iVTEC conversion for a while from it's first release. I just don't know or have not seen enough of it yet to know if it's something I would want to do.

Haha, I'm afraid if I put a turbo on it, I'll throw off the balance of the car for which I originally intended for it. I know if I put a turbo on the car it's going to be 600+ and wouldn't be as trackable for a 20-30 min time trial session. With the supercharger it will have significantly less heat than a turbo.

But we'll see, I know I'm sinking a lot into this supercharger setup and I could have just turbo'ed it and made a lot of power. But I like the challenge of seeing what I can do with a supercharger, considering there are only a handful of people that have pushed a supercharger to the limits.

A turbo car is as trackable as you build it to be. Based on your spending so far, I'm guessing money isn't an issue for you.

Thus I'd imagine you could build a very reliable turbo track car. If you did a PTuning kit with a lot of Inconel heat shielding, really good radiator and oil cooler system, you would probably be set. Maybe a vented hood too just to be safe. I'd imagine that would be pretty solid.

For sure. I just know the way I am and I'd end up putting a big turbo on it and it would ruin it for the track. I'm highly lacking in the self restraint department. Lol Even though I bought a Full Blown radiator, I've been keeping my eye on the dual pass one in the R&C forum and I'm in between if I think it will be necessary or not, I know it would be better, just not sure how much better than the Full Blown one. I have a pretty cool idea for an oil cooler using a Laminova oil cooler and plumbing it into the the heat exchanger. Just haven't got around to it yet.

If you don't have self restraint, a bottom mount turbo setup is perfect for you. No room for anything too big. GT35R is about the max I think.

Lol, but yeah, I understand where you are coming from man. Definitely an awesome build. I look forward to reading more about what you do with it.

Haha, definitely got me there.

It's definitely not an end all, just a good place to start.
