Default CF hood with supercharger

I'm looking at getting an OEM style CF hood for my Ap1.

Do I have anything to worry about as far as heat with a OEM hood? I heard somehwere that if you get a SC and header then you should get a vented hood.

Is this correct?

It's got nothing to do with the supercharger or the header. It's got to do with getting a header that doesn't have heatshields. Then the underhood temps get very high. A supercharger, in itself, doesn't necessarily produce more underhood heat. It's a TURBO that does.
There is nothing to worry about in regards to the OEM hood. It has an insulation built into it. If you do with a CF OEM style hood, there is NO advantage insofar as the heat situation is concerned. It would only be for looks. It won't even save you much weight as the OEM hood is pretty light already. If it's not for looks, you get a CF vented hood, but only if you lost the header heatshields and you want to get rid of the ensuing additional underhood heat.
I'm not even saying that the additional heat is necessarily bad for the underhood components. It's just that, personally, I would prefer it to not be so hot under there.

In our conversations, I did not get the impression that you are getting rid of the stock header and heatshields, right? If that is the case, the underhood temps won't be any different with a supercharger.

Yea I don't think I'll do a header if the gains are puny like they usually are on our honda's.

If it's not wet carbon, I don't see how this would even come remotely close from happening.
