what would be involved in changing 06-07 returnless fuel system to the older pre-06 models? Has anyone done this? Im really looking for a 05 to modify but I cant find any in the condition or color I want... Id would idealy want to turbo or Sc the car when I get it. So im looking at getting an 06 but need to know if I should even bother considering the plans I have for the car.

you don't have to convert unless you go over 10 psi

 

Remember 2nd grade? Drop the "E" and add "ing"

what would happen if I went over 10 psi, if I go turbo Id want about 15psi or so...

I'd like to know more about this too.
I DO know that it's a DBW, returnless fuel system, ECU and all,
but WHAT makes it incompatible w/ pre-06 FIs?
Could anyone elaborate on this one, plz?
