Thumbs up Checklist

Hey guys just wondering if anyone did a write-up or has a checklist of things that should be done to the S2K in order to safely run 500+WHP (with a built motor or without)? I tried searching and I am looking at various set-up, but they all vary obviously. I am wondering what minor mods need to be looked at to be safest possible regardless of money. I want my set-up to stay in top shape. I am only talking about keeping the engine safe, and this has nothing to do with the drivetrain. Thanks in advance!

Lets see to make 500hp:

Turbo
headgasket / built motor / balls to push stock HG
tuner
money
more money
and some more money

yeah...that about covers it

But for basic maintence, nothing special. Change the oil / filter every 3k miles and just check under the hood every once and a while. What else can you really do?

check your coolant before you go to go in for the night and when you first go to drive the next day,

check your oil like you wipe your ass, you can never do it to much

make sure never to boost with quarter tank or less of fuel

listen listen listen thats your best tool, if something sounds wrong it prob is

Thanks for the tips, but I was also wondering what type of mods would be needed to support 500+ WHP. Sorry if I am not clear, but I mean items such as an oil catch can or an oil cooler. Maybe krankvents, but things along those lines that will keep the motor healthy!

Thanks for the feedback so far guys, I was also curious what to check every now and then!
