why does the truboost suck? I have 3 boost settings with one button. No spiking or anything...seems to be PERFECT.
edit : are you all talking boost by gear?

[QUOTE=dsddcd,May 14 2009, 09:26 AM] Should have read the entire thing, here are a few goodies.
I would recommend a PCV valve suited for higher pressure applications. (See My IP build)
How did you hookup the front breather port on the valve cover?
An oil accumulator like Canton

[QUOTE=dsddcd,May 14 2009, 11:27 AM] I had one but I had several issues with it on my setup with respect to the lack of features, that I see as necessary for anything bigger than the Greddy kit. I even called their tech support and their comment was that

Wow, sounds like you hated that thing. Here is my take on that...
I used a manual boost controller for years, and it worked perfectly. I have used this AEM trueboost and it works better than perfect. never overshoots, never fluctuates, i dunno maybe you had a bad one. If a manual boost controller can get the job done surely this ebc with its own pressure sensor can make it happen. I dont know why yours was just a bad one. I will say this....its nearly impossible to read the gauge because its digital....but it has a peak boost button...make a pull hit the button and it shows you your peak pressure. I dunno man i love mine.

That being said, I would not apply it to any car with that much power, my feeling is that a progressive controller or better yet the ECM should be utilized to yeild the optimal performance. He has spent a large amount of cash and has all the hardware so all that has to be done is set up the KPRO.
