I am running a Mishimoto with Mishi fans and shroud. Have had no problems with overheating. As matter of fact, the fans did not kick on until weather got into the mid 60s.

ok I guess it ain't the rad.. Thanks for input.. Bled it and no air ... Drove it and it drives fine in traffic and hwy without ac as soon as i turn ac on it takes 2 min to over heat .. I turn it off and it goes back down ... So I'm clueless right now kraftwerks said no one is havin that problem .. But did offer to send me tubing if I need to relocate the oil cooler for the kit.. Incase that is blockin air flow .. I'm ready to cut my hood up a little bit .. But I would like to solve this problem .. Hopefully by next week I can hook it up to get the engine temp from the computer and see what the temp is actually goin to ...

Other threads about overheating due to the blockage caused by the addition of the KW oil cooler and intercooler. My car did same things with original KW kit. Had to add extreme SPAL 12" fans to combat the Texas heat. Just my .02

240 is awfully high, these temp issues may be the reason for your blower troubles. The question is, why the temp issues? This is from the Rotrex technical handbook, page 17:

ensure that oil temperature at the inlet of the supercharger never exceeds 80°C (176°F) as higher inlet oil temperature will damage the supercharger.

Hey Chef, just caught up on your situation. Glad to hear your car is up and running after your ordeal. Crazy how much has happened since the Glen. But congrats on the Si purchase. Let me know if you decide on rocking another track day this year, I'll try to make it out as well. Also are you running stock fan switch/thermostat right now? Keep posted on how the kit is working.

I shot the outside of can with the infrared .. It was 240... The 160 came from the hose on the inlet .. I have a digital thermometer from work that I will drop right into the can to get the exact temp of the oil .. I need to do a little more testing.. I want to get temps after running it hard and also on street driving .. Kraftwerks said the can could just be pickin up heat from the engine .
