chrysler conversion axle issue
For those that know the axle parts let's go over the design to get this outta the way.
You have an axle with a tripod. There are 3 roller bearings on each end on the tripod which ride on needle bearings.
Now, my question is for those that know the answer:
When the car is down on the ground or even w/ the rear tires hanging in the air, should the tripod be pretty much inside the bucket and not be showing about %25 percent of the roller bearing which would cause the whole assembly to possibly bang away against the bucket?
