Default Clicking noise coming from my engine head

hey i was doing about a 100 back from school i didnt redline or anything like that, maybe pushed it to six or seven rpm. i went home for an hour and had to go to work, when i turn the car on i hear a clicking noise while on my way to work. its not loud but it gets faster once i step on the gas. its parked right now until i find the right mechanic. some people are saying it might be my valves. how much would it cost if its the valves im planning to record it tomorrow that way you could hear the sound im talking about. this is my setup Engine & Drivetrain:

InlinePRO Turbocharger Kit
Precision Turbo/Garrett Hybrid BB Turbocharger (GT3076Rb)
(No frame notching necessary)
3mm Headgasket
Oil Filter Relocation Kit
ALL kit upgrades

Stage 3 Competition Clutch

AEM EMS with UEGO option

HKS Hi-Power Dual Exhaust
Test Pipe

i doubt it i took it to the mechanic and he says its coming from the engine head (the sound) but the only way he will find out whats wrong with it if he opens the head.

Sounds like you may just need a valve adjustment. Although you might wanna go ahead and lift the head. When mine was making a ticking noise i thought the same thing...come to find out when i pulled my head apart, i had 10 cracked retainers. 2 of them were almost pulled all the way through!! Trust me...head work is alot cheaper than a dropped valve lol.

pull the valve cover and inspect the tops of the valve and make sure they arent coming through the retainer. You sure it is not an exhaust leak? these are common on turbo cars.
