Wow I dunno if I would have revved it up like that. That is not just a valve adjustment. I would not drive it anywhere like that.

Agreed. That's definitely a metal on metal sound...not the tick-tick of an exhaust leak. Sounds like more than a valve adjustment. Rather a valve problem.
