Clutch Change/ with Supercharger ???
So I recently (300 miles ago) I had my07 f22 replaced with a 09 f22 by insurance. After a 5th gear pull my clutch went out and I had to float gears to get home. Was not expecting this as this clutch has less then 10k miles on it, ACT pp, and new OEM disk and bearing. I paid over 1200 bucks for this clutch less then a year ago and had all the work done by Autowave. They also put my new motor in like 2 weeks ago........ they want $900 just for labor!!!!!!!!! (They even said and we'll remove the SC for free) lol
is it possible to do a clutch job without removing the supercharger/ aftercooler????
Anyone in So Cali want a side job?

It's possible to replace the clutch without removing the SC. s2000junky and I had our clutches replaced by the same Honda "master" mechanic years ago. s2000junky had a CT kit at the time and I have the SOS, and I think only one of our kits had to have the AC unbolted to create some extra room. I can't recall if was the CT or SOS kit however.

I've replaced a clutch on a Vortech equipped s2k without removing the blower . It however is more trouble than it's worth as you can't lower the cradle as low as your supposed to . I did it once but won't do it that way again . Spend the extra half hour to pull off the blower and it will make things much easier .

Making 360whp at 11psi on a conservative dyno... ya pretty lame. I just had to have insurance replace my engine with a 09. Pulled the head for a head gasket and the timing chain cover was .04 higher so they put a newer one in. A few hundred miles later the clutch goes out and I'm stuck buying my 3rd clutch

FYI, you need to remove the blower since it only has like 1/2" clearance to the cross-member. Engine needs to drop 3". It will not work without removal.
