i suck at looking for threads so can someone kindly point me to a thread comparing different turbos? i looked in the stickied thread and i just saw the SC threads. any help wold be greatly appreciated.

i plan to use my car for mostly street but would like to someday bring it to the track. so i guess i was trying to see what its like for a turbo that has good whp gains but also has good potential for later on. i dont know alot about FI so i dont know much about PSI and such. so any help would be appreciated.

Well, the amount of PSI doesnt really affect power as much as the size of turbo you use. Meaning, a GT3076R and a GT35R will not make the same power at the same PSI level. A/R will affect the turbo as well. Here is a thread that will give you SOME info on turbo selection.

This shows you the difference in A/R in relation to the turbo's. It is mainly talking about the GT3076R though.

 

yeah what the guy above me say....
look at t3/t4.63 ... its a good turbo... if you got the money look into Gt30s
those are good turbos if your starting out

 

GT30 / 35 both great turbos but have slightly different characteristics so you'll have to do some research on which one you would prefer.
