I have had my competition clutch in my stock tranny... 500whp for about 3000 miles now and it had 1000 miles on it prior. Short story so far is I got a weird pedal and ended up changing my master since my stock was shot... Then Noticed I had a killer leak on the ground coming from the bottom of the bellhousing. I spoke with evans and my mechanic and they both think it is either a failure in the line or the seal on the hydro t.o.b. Im just hoping it didnt cause any clutch damage or get any fluid on the discs. The other think I wanted to ask the fellow twin disc users is what are you guys running for masters? I hear from alot of high hp civic and integra guys that the stock masters dont have enough pressure to properly engage and disengage the twin. I have a brand new omni and a brand new oem sitting at home so I dont know what one I should install.

I have the comp twin disk now and used to have the stage 4. The engagement is noticeably better than the stage 4, but I would not say it is similar to stock by any means.

random question: how are these clutches for daily driving? Will daily driving cause any problems with the clutch? Would you treat it any differently than say an ACT HDSS?

I have the Clutchmasters FX725 and daily drive my car on the summer. Like mentioned it rattles quite a bit with the pedal pressed f.ex at idle and quite a bit of buzz on decel. But I think that is to be expected with these clutches. Regarding how they are to daily drive, I would say no problem. The engagement is quite quick though, so really just something you have to get used to. Bumper to bumper traffic is a challenge though, as you should NOT slip on the clutch. It will wear out the plates very quick. Luckily I don't see that kind of traffic too often.

Comp Clutch Twin Disc "C" owner. And I absolutely love it. Very easy to pedal feel like stock but engagement takes some getting used to since there is zero slipping like a stock or single disc clutch is. I am currently having issues with it... my tilton hydro throw out bearing is acting up and leaking somewhere so my buddy "KJ Built" and I have to pull it out this week and see if its an issue leaking from the line or the seal on the bearing itself like he and jeff evans suggested to me. Sucks since its prolly only 5000 miles old but oh well. I think a bad clutch master caused its premature failure or the line coming loose and getting punctured.
