Default Complete but not done!

2003 BB S2000,

Thought I'd finally post up my car. Its almost been a year and half since I been working on this setup in the dark. Pretty much picked up where James(jdnissanz) left his setup off at. His setup pretty much went on market at the right time for me. Long story short, 2 weeks of owning my car timing chain set screw slowly unscrewed out and boom goes the dynamite on the freeway. Here is where I'm at now but hopefully more to come soon. After the summer time of course don't get much here in the Northwest

Only thing saving my drivetrain are my stock wheels and tires

~Note this car is daily driven for the time being to sort out any bugs, this winter picking up another daily.

Future Plans

EXCELLENT build.

Nothing beats benson sleeves. Also, fan of CP.

The whole build list looks pretty nice.

Thanks,
Love the benson open deck sleeves. I run stock radiator all day and never had any cooling issues. Im pretty sure that will be a different story at the track but so far it has worked out great for me.

^ His interlocking method for the cylinders is dead nuts too!

Cooling at the track can be solved pretty easily. Start with keeping your stock plastic radiator shroud. Cut out holes for your intercooler rather than chopping the entire thing apart. Then seal that box even better against the frame etc. A vented hood will further help. Also some water wetter in the radiator will further help as well a bit more water and a little less anti-freeze (water cools better than anti-freeze) depending on your climate. In so cal we never see freezing, anti-freeze is pointless except for it's lubrication qualities. There exists better anti-freeze than off the shelf products if you desire better cooling still.

If all else fails, grab a mushimoto or koyo radiator and your heat problems are surely gone.

I think you'll love the car.

^ Thanks for the input much appreciated.
We dont really see too much hot weather here in seattle.
And if we do its barely ever over 80. The temperature
does tend to get below freezing at times so thinning
the coolant mixture might not be an option for me. Best
option would be a koyo radiator with slim fans if I ever
do have cooling problems. But washington weather during the
summer never really reaches extreme conditions. Hopefully
