Hey guys, I recently purchased an F22C and my techinician noticed that the pistons seemed to have less of a dome than the F20C pistons in my original motor.

Lead me to beleive the compression in the F22C was lower? Is this true?

I thought the only difference between motors was stroke, cams and rev limit?

My setup will be an F20C head, 2MM headgasket and F22C block.

If the compression will be lower that will be fine since i'm running about 15-18psi.

Just wanted to hear from others doing this same setup if they know about the compression changes, if any.

F20c is 11.0:1

F22c is 11.1:1

More capacity 550cc vs 500cc pumping into the same size combustion chamber requires less piston dome to arrive at the same compression.
