wow a 3mm drops it to 8.8 compression.....pefect for boosting. which companies sell a 3mm head gasket?

But I heard the one they make for IP is not the same as they will sell directly to you (customized and proprietary) but they sell their version for 1/3 the price. It has something to do with being all stainless I think??

Cool didn't know that, I od know that ordering one through Cometic take 2 to 3 weeks to get which sucks, but I guess it's worth the wait

Does anyone know the formula to calculate compression ration for a custom sized gasket? I can guesstimate based on chamber size and thickness relative to the ones in the table, but I would like to be more precise.

I can help you out. I just need the current bore, stroke, current compression ratios and the new and old head gasket size.
