What are you using for piston dome volume (cc), combustion chamber volume (cc), and piston deck clearance?

The calculations above were based on the following given constants:

Bore
Stroke
Current Compression ratio
Current Head Gasket Thickness
New Head Gasket Thickness

1. From Bore and Stroke you get the minimum cylinder volume

2. From the Current Compression ratio you can get the maximum cylinder volume and the minimum chamber volume.

3. Once you have the calculations above, you can use the current gasket thickness to compare the the new gasket thickness to get the change in chamber volume to get the new compression ratio

After swiching to a 3mm H/G what conerns should you have about the motor? Will it run better on boost or will a big chunk of metal between the head and block hurt it?

I wish a few of these previous questions got answered,

I'm about to boost with reliability being my main concern. Is a head gasket a must for me if I only plan on making 350hp?

For reliability I would say yes. TO get 350 whp it will either take a VERY AGGRESIVE tune on 8 psi or a big ass turbo or its going to take 10 psi, which is iffy on stock compression. For reliability just lower the Compression a little.

I dont trust the idea of droping compratio with a headgasket. do it right and get the right pistons.

That thick of a headgasket will just add a weakpoint.
