Same engine, different electronics. See this thread for more info:

That thread should answer all your questions.

I got this from Comptech yesterday:

We have found that the new throttle body is about an inch higher in the engine bay than the older cars. This means we have to make some changes to our aftercooler to get everything to fit. We should have some more info in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks,

I understand you are working on a supercharger for the 06 Honda S2000. Status report and projected availability date. Thanks.

George is either making a mistake or choosing to release only certain details. A higher throttle body isn't the significant issue with the MY06--the MAF/MAP sensor is.

I already get lots of emails every day for Viagra, penile dysfunction, free sex, you name it. I just delete anything I don't recognize, so spam away, whoever you are out there.

From an unnamed source, Comptech does not have an S2000 to start developing a new S/C. I am hoping that they will use mine.

Comptech is currently working on a S/C for the '06 Si. As many of you know, the '06 Si is very similiar to the '06 S2000 in that it has DBW and MAF/MAP sensors. The ECU is very similiar. Comptech has developed a "piggy back" device that allows more fuel to be added, but it doesn't answer the mail concerning timing. Comptech is working with an unnamed source to resolve the timing issues.

Has there been any word on if they have begun researching on this issue for the S2000 yet??
