Comptech is still working on the new Civic Si. Hopefully they will be done in the not-so-distant future.

 

My guess is that the Split Second box will still do timing on the 06+ motors.

I just talked to Comptech and they already have an MY06 S2000 for use in making a supercharger. However, they like to have a "backup" car for R&D purposes so I sent them information on my S for consideration.

As far as Drive By Wire goes, I wonder if that will actually be a problem? They have an SC application for the NSX... which is drive by wire. I wouldn't be surprised if Honda used some stuff from the parts bin.

The returnless fuel system is definitely a show stopper though.

A higher throttle body sounds like a stall tactic. If that was the case, they could release the non after-cooled version with a different pipe. That would take all of 10 minutes to fabricate.

 

I know you're talking about Comptech S/C, but hasn't Vortech develope anything for the 06?

 

I am extremely confused, can someone explain to me whether i should wait for the 06 version or buy one of the group buy comptech sc's that are currently for sale???

The current version is not compatible with the MY06. You will need to sit back and wait.
