I just got off the phone with Jamie at VORTECH, he is the service supervisor, and he verified the S2000 SC unit is warranteed for 3 years!!! If you got a Civic or possibly another Honda kit, then it is one year because it is an extended drive unit and that is clearly stated in the warranty. So the above written by ROX is untrue as long as it's an S2000 kit and there is a misunderstanding on his letter. Anyone can call VORTECH @1-805-247-0226 and ask for JAMIE and verify this if you don't believe me.

Phil-

That's fantastic. I doubt you will ever need the warranty, but it's nice to know it's there.

Rox-PM sent. The warranty is diff on the S2000 kit then the other Honda's kit. Maybe that's why a Civic kit is 2800 and the s2000 is over 4K!! It's a different set up (not an extended drive unit. Phil

Phil, PM sent again..I call there Warranty Manager Lynn..not the Service Manager. And you will get the 1 year reply. I truly hope Jamie is right..not trying to be a jerk...but I wish Vortech would get there act together. If anybody wants to see the letter I have it. I will email and anybody can post the pic.

Lynn is the secretary, The whole mess is now straightened out with Lynn, and HAVE NO FEARS!!!! you have the 3 year warranty. Please call Lynn and you will see I have got it handled, and no one else will ever get that letter that was sent to you in error....it is reserved for civic and acura kits, as they are "extended drive" units, and she didn't know the difference. I suggested they send a new letter out to those who got the letter you did, that followed the rules and got the S2000 Kit. Thanks for getting my spark lighted on this subject and hope this helps others to get this great set-up and not get confused by that stupid letter! Phil
