Not sure, but to be on the safe side (and keep the car balanced) I'm doing an upgrade to a set of 13" Wilwoods w/EBC GreenStuff pads.

Re: stickier tires - you can get stickier tires or a stronger clutch or a stronger rear diff & gears or a stronger tranny or a stronger drive shaft, half shafts, etc, but unless you do all of these, getting one or two things "better" will only cause the other weaker links to fail sooner. So, you gotta ask yourself: "Which part do I wanna fix later?"

Re: brakes - A S/C will get you going "quicker" but unless you are inclined to constantly go "faster", you shouldn't need better brakes than the stock car. Unless of course having a S/C suddenly makes you decide to push on the "go" pedal and the "stop" pedal at the same time.

I'd love to see an intercooled roots type (Eaton) blower kit for the S2K. I've got a Jackson Racing kit on my 2000 Si, and that thing rocks. It doesn't put out the high dyno numbers like a centrifugal blower or turbo, but low end torque is awesome. I'm at like 90% of peak torque at only 3000 rpms. My Si is definately faster in a straight line than my '02 S2K, but the Si is for sale, so what does that say? I may have drove the Si for the last time today. I'm gonna cry when it's gone... such a great sleeper! The S is a lot of show, with some go. The Si was no show, with all go... laughing at Mustang GT's in a Civic is too funny.

Most of the dyno results I have seen on S2KI are about 290 RWHP for the Vortech and about 285 RWHP for the Comptech. Only a 5 HP gain using the aftercooler and higher boost on the Vortech? Something seems wrong. Can someone please confirm these numbers?

Also, I went with the Comptech mostly because of the easier installation. I think with the Comptech aftercooler(if it ever comes out) and higher boost(7 PSI), I should see atleast a 25 HP gain on my Comptech unit(for a total of 310 RWHP). Anyone else agree?

What were the other Comptech's laying down on otherwise stock installations, unlike yours and Randys? (Impressive guys!) I hope to be stronger than 300 RWHP myself. I will be on the Dyno as soon as I figure out what way I'm going to go on the VAFC. I want to buy Cyber Logic's radio door and harness, but I need to make sure that the Vortech control unit and this will work together in the wiring with is plug in harness. YS- you mentioned making sure it is wired downstream from this, can you elaborate for me on this for me? Phil
