S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Comptech Supercharger, very dissappointed!

You're being very negative and u really havent taken the kit to the level most others have and I have to say when u do be ready to eat you're words. I'm running 14psi on my kit now (SOS) and honestly there aren't many cars I can't beat. The hardest thing to do is to keep traction lol!

You definitely need to hook up that aftercooler plumbing. I've noticed that SC setups gets significantly heatsoaked even when the system is filled and the pump isn't working - so definitely hook that up and I think you can see much more consistent power driving around.

I can feel the improvement now in the morning and it's in the 70's. So yes, I agree and it seems my power loss has more to do with high Intake temps.

Once I get the after cooler installed and plumb, a new high output clutch and header and exhaust installed, the car could become a completely different animal, not to mention SOS upgrade through and through

I would think 5-6 psi on a sc would be a very little gain in HP and TQ maybe 300hp and that would be at the very top of the RPM range. After vtec you should feel something though. I have read posts like this before, maybe just get a smaller pully, one that puts out close to 10-14psi then the car will feel better.

After that being done, I can tell a noticable improvement over 6,000 rpms, but even still though, I could not see paying 6,000 dollars for this supecharger kit new. With that being said, I am eventually going to install a wideband 02 sensor so that I can possibly fine tune the rising rate fuel pressure regulator if it can be adjusted at all...

A nice addition, but in my honest opinion, I would put the time and money into a quality turbocharger system or an Eaton MP62. (I have built three turbo Miatas vs two supercharged Miatas' and I was always exceptionally pleased with the drivability of the turbo)

If someone wanted to trade straight up, I think I would be much more satisfied with a positive displacement type supercharger setup (Roots, Screw Type) Not to mention that Roots Blower whine, gosh its addictive.)

With all this being said, don't take it totally wrong, its a well crafted kit, great bracketry, really attractive under the hood, but I knew what I was getting into with a centrifugal, and the common-sensable part of me reminded me that they are good for large displacement engines with great torque output already, not so much on 4-cylinders.

Who knows though, perhaps a new clutch, comptech header and exhaust, and a fine tune for a solid 11:5-12:1 AFR will really make it move...

Even still though, SOS stage 2 looks to be a must...

Glad it's working now. I completely agree with you, since centrifugal SC's build power with rev's I can't imagine being remotely happy with a base 6psi kit. I'm at 14psi now on my SOS and it's night and day different than stock. Not slow at low rpm anymore, and at high rpm it FLIES. Two key steps to take: lower VTEC so that you get more power in the midrange, and go to a smaller pulley (higher boost). Depending on how high you go, you'll need to do injectors / fuel pump / EMS. Trust me, it's definitely worth it. I'd say start at 10psi and see if that satisfies you. If not, go higher!

A roots SC can make much better low end, but a high boost centrifugal will blow it away at high rpm. I debated for a long time about which way to go and finally decided that I wanted a car that was fast when I really ran it hard, thus went SOS.
