Default Comptect S/c

I read somewhere if u got a comptect s/c you dont need to get any ecu or injectors or anything else. Kit comes with everything. what does the kit come with. How much does it cost. How many hp gains will i get with the kit itself. And how safe is it and how much life does it kill from the car stock. Also what can u campair the car with (as in speed). Thx.

Get a ride from someone who has one - you won't really be able to know what to look forward to/compare to until you do.

i would say a little bit more power than a stock e46 m3 with the Comptech unit on stock boost.

comptech.com for all your info.

I did 13.1 on 5.5 psi and hks exhaust, stock clutch and everything else.

12.7 on 6.6 and injectors tuned with vafc and the comptech clutch upgrade. I think you will be most happy with that setup for a while, i personaly didn't really feel much difference just on stock boost. Go for the 7psi and you will be satisfied. This is what you need since you got the 06:

RC 550 injectors (high impedence)
VAFC 1 or 2
comptech flywheel and ACT pressure plate
straight pipe

It sounded sick with HKS exhaust and Greddy BOV. video

Crazy video. Now with what u told me to get. Do i need a Stand alone or can i use what the kit will give me? I want to go 7 psi, so how many hp am i lookin at? How much life will it kill out of my car, and what will happen if i stick with my stock clutch?

The vafc will work fine for this setup cause the FPR is rising rate (more fuel as boost goes up). lookin at about 305-320 hp depending on a couple other things like your exhaust, engine condition, plugs ..... If its tuned conservative, the plan is forever but no one knows that. And depending on driving habbits i'd say 3-8 months for the clutch (mine started slipping bad after 4 months of racing and doing donuts).

Did comptech ever get their SC'r working on the O6's? Because last I heard they don't because of the throttle by wire thing.

Then thats bad news, plus i dont understand all this "the FPR is rising rate" and all. I wana go all stock. Stock exhaust, stock everything. How well will the s/c work with hp and lasting. Its a 2006 with 700miles, and i plan on putting a s/c by 5k miles.
