To be perfectly honest, I have yet to hear of a centrifugal supercharger kit (on stock boost and installed correctly) hurt any S2000. We just had one hit 100,000 boosted miles...I mean thats just awesome.

If I had a brand new 2006 and wanted this kit, I would approach Vortech and let them put it on my car right off the lot. Of course, I would still follow break-in procedures for the car, but it certainly isn't going to hurt anything. Under normal driving circumstances, it's like having your A/C on.

One thing I would do is try to get them to knock the price WAY down for letting them use the car. I would also require a rediculously nice warranty to go along with the kit. If you can get them to do it free of charge, who's to stop you??

I offered mine to Comptech, but they wanted a 2006, not a 2002.

Plush comptech is far away from me by the area code. But i told the guy at vortech i lived in glendale and right away he asked me for my name and #. I HOPE THEY CALLLLLL

Stock 'charger coupled with a stock exhaust... okay. Bumping the boost and maintaining stock exhaust... maybe not so good.

The stock system flows notoriously well, but freeing it up a little wouldn't hurt. Of course, there's the 25lbs+ weight savings in the exhaust alone. You want faster/quicker, you've got to make some concessions.

And slim, engine install taking place this weekend... after break-in and tuning, I'll be sure to make the short trip to your neck of the woods.

I'm glad that my spelling is at a passing grade. Won't want to pissed-off a 23 years old guy. Now I know why I couldn't earned a degree...My spelling is okay...Now I can tell mom why I failed.

Anyways, Good job on the responose RED MX5....very impressed with the time you took to answer that "general" question.
BTW, that dude that made up this thread is a Lazy guy...I'm with Slim on that. This topic is more redundant than a head job.
