Default conservative pump gas boost limit

previous ap2 had a KW high boost kit, using the default tune. made 360whp @ 8600. peak boost was 10.8 psi right at redline. on this car I'm going to keep the rev limit at 8300 for safety. is shooting for 12 psi @8300 reasonable on 91 octane (novi 1200)? tune will be flash pro now.

I would say that is a reasonable goal.

The question is how do you intend to reach 12psi without overspinning (exploding) your blower?

I was unaware that a novi 1200 couldn't make 12psi on an f22.

Huh?? You must be thinking of the kraftwerks kit. 1200 blower people have pushed 18-20 psi out of.

Ya he's switching to the SOS kit with a N1200. Not using the KW kit anymore.

OP, you should be fine. 12 psi on the 1200 is very reasonable. I would consider it on the low end for that blower.

Think he's concerned about the motor on 91 not the blower. Those blowers can make a lot of boost!

yes, I'm asking about the safe limit of the motor with 91.

13-15 psi is pretty much the limit on 91.

I figured. I'll try to keep it around 11 @ 8300.
