Default CRANK IS HARD.....

I currently have the head off my car the other day I went to turn the crank to give it some motion and when the 2 oistons get to the top I find it to have alot of resistance anyone else have this problem?

Is the block still in the car and have you taken it out of gear?

If not:
Bearings, rings or both. Not good...

You may also have "piston slap". This is a situation common in many other honda 4 cylinders where the piston might be slightly out of round and only when it heats up, does it become round. I've not heard this with the F20 engine, but that may be because your the first one to actually post about it.
